The Disney Cruise Line Fleet in 2026 and 2027
Before we get into itineraries and events, here is a quick overview of every ship currently sailing with Disney Cruise Line. The fleet has grown significantly in recent years, and each ship has its own personality and home port.

Disney Magic sails from Galveston, Texas for much of the year with Western Caribbean and Bahamian itineraries, plus Alaskan sailings in the summer departing from Vancouver.
Disney Wonder is Disney’s longtime West Coast ship, sailing Baja Mexico, Mexican Riviera, and Alaskan itineraries from San Diego and Vancouver.
Disney Dream is one of the fleet’s most well-traveled ships, heading to Europe in the spring and summer of 2026 before returning to Florida waters in 2027.
Disney Fantasy is a Port Canaveral staple, offering reliable Bahamian and Caribbean sailings year-round.
Disney Wish is one of the newer, stunningly designed Wish-class ships, sailing short Bahamian getaways from Port Canaveral in 2026 before making its European debut in the summer of 2027.
Disney Treasure is another newer ship, sailing 7-night Caribbean itineraries from Port Canaveral throughout the year.
Disney Destiny is the newest addition to the Wish-class family, themed around heroes and villains and sailing from Fort Lauderdale.
Disney Adventure is the brand-new ship sailing unique “Magic at Sea” itineraries from Singapore with no port stops at all.
Special Themed Sailings
One of the things that makes sailing on Disney Cruise Line so special is the lineup of themed events that run throughout the year. Here is a look at everything happening in 2026 and 2027.
Halloween on the High Seas
Running on select sailings from September through October, Halloween on the High Seas is Disney Cruise Line’s delightfully not-so-scary take on the spookiest holiday of the year. The ship transforms from bow to stern with festive autumn decor, a Pumpkin Tree in the atrium (each ship has its own unique version with its own personality), Halloween-themed entertainment, special character appearances in costume, ship-wide trick-or-treating, and themed food and beverages. The entertainment highlight is Mickey’s Mouse-querade Party, a lively deck party where characters in Halloween costumes celebrate with guests of all ages.
One extra note for Disney Wish fans: Halloween sailings on the Wish include an exclusive “Who’s Behind the Curtain?” experience featuring Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, and Clarabelle Cow dressed as the Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus. Yes, really. It is exactly as wonderful as it sounds.
Not every fall sailing includes Halloween on the High Seas, so look specifically for itineraries marked as such when you book.
Very Merrytime Cruises
Running from early November through late December on select sailings, Very Merrytime Cruises transform Disney’s ships into floating Christmas celebrations that are unlike anything else at sea. Picture a towering Legacy Christmas Tree in the atrium, garlands and wreaths around every corner, characters dressed in their holiday finest, and yes… “snow” falling on the deck in the middle of the Bahamas. It is pure Disney holiday magic. My family has not had the chance to sail a Very Merrytime cruise yet, but it is absolutely at the top of our wish list!
Highlights include Mickey and Minnie’s Holiday Party (the signature deck celebration with holiday music and characters), Storytime with Mrs. Claus, holiday-themed games and crafts, and on later-season sailings, a life-sized Gingerbread House that is every bit as impressive as it sounds. Characters appear in their holiday best throughout the sailing, with festive costumes you simply will not find at any other time of year. Disney’s private island destinations, Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, also receive holiday decorations during Very Merrytime sailings, which makes for one of the most delightfully surreal experiences in all of Disney cruising: tropical breezes and Christmas magic all at once.
In 2026, Very Merrytime Cruises are available across the entire U.S.-based fleet. These sailings book up fast, especially mid-to-late December dates, so book as early as you possibly can.
Marvel Day at Sea
Are you bold enough to sail with the largest assembly of Marvel Super Heroes, along with a few villains, across land and sea? Marvel Day at Sea is a full-day, ship-wide celebration on select Disney Magic sailings from Galveston, Texas, running from January through early March each year.
From the moment you wake up, the ship is completely transformed. Marvel music fills the air, themed banners line the atrium, and the schedule is packed from morning until the spectacular nighttime finale on the upper decks. Over 30 Super Heroes and villains make appearances throughout the day, including Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Thor, Loki, Black Panther, and many more.
The crown jewel of the event is Marvel Heroes Unite, a nighttime deck spectacular featuring stunt choreography, special effects, pyrotechnics, and fireworks at sea, with heroes and villains colliding in an epic clash of good vs. evil. It is genuinely one of the most impressive things Disney Cruise Line produces, and my family talks about the deck shows every single time we sail. Other highlights include a big-band USO show tribute to Captain America, Wakanda warrior training with Okoye and the Dora Milaje, the Avengers Training Initiative for younger heroes-in-training, Marvel Comic Academy sketch sessions, and Mickey and Minnie’s Super Hero Celebration.
For 2027, Marvel Day at Sea is available on 4-, 5-, and 7-night sailings for the very first time, including Bahamian itineraries visiting Nassau and Disney Castaway Cay. That 7-night option is a genuinely exciting new development for families who want more time to soak it all in.
Pixar Day at Sea
If Marvel Day at Sea is for your superhero fans, Pixar Day at Sea is for everyone else, and honestly, it is for the Marvel fans too, because it is just that good. This magical themed day takes place on select 5-night Disney Fantasy sailings from Port Canaveral, Florida, running from late January through early March.

The day brings the worlds of Toy Story, Monsters, Inc., The Incredibles, Inside Out, and Coco to life from breakfast through the evening deck party. It kicks off with the Hey Howdy Breakfast, a musical Toy Story-themed breakfast with live music, sing-alongs, and Woody and Jessie themselves. From there, you have Crush’s Totally Awesome Pool Party hosted by Crush from Finding Nemo, Edna Mode’s Style on Parade (where guests strut their best Pixar-inspired fashion, no capes!), and the Pixar Pals Celebration deck party at sunset.
There is also the Pixar Day at Sea Dinner with dishes inspired by Pixar Animation Studios and an Anyone Can Cook live cooking demo where Disney Chefs teach guests to make Remy’s signature ratatouille. My kids absolutely loved every minute of it. It was worth booking the cruise for on its own.
Where Every Ship Is Sailing in 2026 and 2027
Here is a full breakdown of where you will find each ship throughout the year.
Disney Magic
- Home Port: Galveston, Texas (with seasonal moves to Vancouver for Alaska and San Diego for the Pacific Coast)
- Destinations: Western Caribbean, Bahamas, Alaska, Pacific Coast, Panama Canal
The Disney Magic has one of the most dynamic schedules in the fleet. In the winter and spring, it sails 4- and 5-night Western Caribbean itineraries from Galveston with stops in Cozumel and Progreso, Mexico. Marvel Day at Sea sailings run from January through early March in both 2026 and 2027, with the brand-new 7-night Bahamian Marvel sailing debuting in 2027.
For summer 2026, the Magic makes history by sailing to Alaska for the very first time, joining the Disney Wonder in the Pacific Northwest with 7-night itineraries from Vancouver to Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan, and Icy Strait Point, plus glacier viewing at the breathtaking Dawes Glacier. In summer 2027, the Magic returns to Alaska with even more flexibility, adding 6- and 8-night options alongside the standard 7-night sailings.
In fall 2026, the Magic repositions to San Diego for Pacific Coast sailings with stops at Catalina Island, Cabo San Lucas, Ensenada, and Puerto Vallarta. It then makes a 14-night repositioning voyage back to Galveston in November, settling in for Western Caribbean and Bahamian sailings just in time for Very Merrytime season.
And if a bucket-list sailing is on your radar: in spring 2027, the Magic wraps up its season with a 14-night Westbound Panama Canal repositioning cruise from Galveston to San Diego, stopping at Cozumel, Cartagena, the Panama Canal itself, Cabo San Lucas, and Ensenada. That one is genuinely special.
Disney Wonder
- Home Port: San Diego, California and Vancouver, British Columbia
- Destinations: Baja Mexico, Mexican Riviera, Alaska
The Disney Wonder is Disney’s West Coast workhorse, and it delivers a wonderful variety of itineraries throughout the year. It is also one of our personal favorites in the entire fleet. We have sailed the Wonder on the Mexican Riviera and absolutely fallen in love with it. In the winter and spring, the Wonder sails from San Diego with 3- to 7-night Baja and Mexican Riviera sailings featuring stops at Catalina Island, Ensenada, Cabo San Lucas, and Puerto Vallarta.
Starting in May 2026, the Wonder repositions north to Vancouver to begin its Alaskan season with 5- and 7-night itineraries to Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan, and glacier viewing along the Stikine Icecap. The Wonder has been Disney’s Alaska ship since 2011, and it consistently earns rave reviews. Alaska on the Wonder is absolutely on our family bucket list.
For fall 2026, the Wonder joins the Disney Magic in San Diego, meaning two Disney ships are based on the West Coast simultaneously for the first time ever. This is genuinely exciting news for West Coast families who have historically had fewer options close to home. In spring and fall 2027, the Wonder continues its West Coast presence with Baja and Mexican Riviera sailings from San Diego.
Disney Dream
- Home Port: Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Port Canaveral, Florida; Barcelona, Spain (seasonal)
- Destinations: Bahamas, Transatlantic, Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Southern Caribbean

The Disney Dream holds a very special place in my heart. It was the very first Disney Cruise Line ship my husband and I ever sailed on, and it remains one of our absolute favorites to this day.
Across 2026 and 2027, the Dream has the most globe-trotting itinerary of any ship in the fleet. In spring 2026, the Dream begins with Bahamian sailings from Fort Lauderdale before embarking on a spectacular 14-night Eastbound Transatlantic cruise to Barcelona, with stops in the Azores, Cadiz, Malaga, and Cartagena. If there is ever a time to book a once-in-a-lifetime sailing, that one is it. (My husband and I have been talking about a European cruise for years, and this is the itinerary that keeps coming up in our conversations!)
After the crossing, the Dream spends summer 2026 sailing 7- to 12-night Mediterranean and Northern European itineraries from Barcelona, Civitavecchia, and Southampton, visiting destinations including Santorini, Mykonos, Rhodes, Copenhagen, the Norwegian Fjords, and the brand-new Disney Cruise Line port of Cagliari, Sardinia.
In fall 2026, the Dream settles back into familiar waters with Bahamian sailings from Fort Lauderdale, 7-night Eastern Caribbean voyages to Tortola and St. Thomas, and a beautiful 7-night Southern Caribbean cruise departing from San Juan, Puerto Rico, visiting Curacao, Aruba, Antigua, and St. Maarten. These are ports Disney does not visit often, and the islands are absolutely stunning.
In summer 2027, after its spectacular European run, the Dream returns to Port Canaveral for 3- and 4-night Bahamian sailings. Having it back in Florida is great news for East Coast families, and for anyone who has never sailed the Dream before, this is a wonderful opportunity to experience one of the most beloved ships in the fleet.
Disney Fantasy
- Home Port: Port Canaveral, Florida
- Destinations: Bahamas, Caribbean, Southern Caribbean
The Disney Fantasy is a Port Canaveral staple year-round, and it delivers reliable, magical sailings in every season. We sailed the Fantasy on a 7-night Western Caribbean cruise when our daughters were young, and it was their very first Disney cruise. Watching them experience it for the first time made it one of our most cherished family memories. It is big enough that there is always something to do, but it still has that unmistakable Disney magic in every corner. The ship offers a mix of 3-, 4-, and 5-night Bahamian and Caribbean sailings throughout the year, with stops varying among Nassau, Disney Castaway Cay, and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
Pixar Day at Sea runs on select 5-night Fantasy sailings from late January through early March in both 2026 and 2027. Halloween on the High Seas and Very Merrytime sailings are also available on select itineraries in the fall.
One particularly exciting option in 2027: a 5-night sailing with two stops at Disney Castaway Cay, a rare double-dip that is absolutely worth prioritizing if island time is what you are after. Trust me, one day at Castaway Cay is never quite enough. In both 2026 and 2027, the Fantasy also offers a 10-night Southern Caribbean sailing for families who want to explore beyond the Bahamas.
Disney Wish
- Home Port: Port Canaveral, Florida (2026); European ports in summer 2027
- Destinations: Bahamas (2026); Mediterranean, Norwegian Fjords, Northern Europe (summer 2027)

The Disney Wish is one of the most beautifully designed ships in the fleet, and for much of 2026, it sails short, magical 3- and 4-night Bahamian getaways from Port Canaveral with stops at Nassau, Disney Castaway Cay, and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. If you have never sailed the Wish, these short itineraries punch well above their length. The ship is stunning, and even a quick Bahamas trip leaves you feeling like you have had a full vacation. We have done a 3-night on the Wish and genuinely loved every minute of it.
For fall 2026, the Wish offers Halloween on the High Seas sailings with the exclusive Sanderson Sisters experience, followed by Very Merrytime sailings in November and December.
The headline news for 2027: the Disney Wish is heading to Europe for the very first time. After a transatlantic repositioning crossing, the Wish will offer 3- to 10-night European itineraries from Barcelona, Civitavecchia, and Southampton, visiting stunning new-to-Disney destinations including Zadar, Croatia, Trieste (near Venice), Italy, and Hellesylt, Norway, along with Mediterranean and Northern European ports throughout the summer. If a European cruise on the Wish is on your wish list (pun intended), book early. This will be an extremely high-demand season.
Disney Treasure
- Home Port: Port Canaveral, Florida
- Destinations: Western Caribbean, Eastern Caribbean
The Disney Treasure is one of Disney’s newer ships, and it sails 7-night Caribbean itineraries from Port Canaveral year-round in both 2026 and 2027. Western Caribbean sailings visit Cozumel, George Town (Grand Cayman), Falmouth (Jamaica), and Disney Castaway Cay. Eastern Caribbean sailings head to Tortola (British Virgin Islands), St. Thomas (U.S. Virgin Islands), and Castaway Cay. Every single Treasure sailing includes a stop at Castaway Cay, which makes every itinerary feel complete.
If you want a longer, port-rich Caribbean cruise with a Disney private island stop guaranteed, the Treasure is hard to beat. Halloween on the High Seas and Very Merrytime options are also available on select fall and winter sailings.
Disney Destiny
- Home Port: Fort Lauderdale, Florida
- Destinations: Bahamas, Eastern Caribbean, Western Caribbean
The Disney Destiny made its debut in November 2025 and is already one of the most talked-about ships in the fleet. This heroes-and-villains-themed Wish-class ship sails from Fort Lauderdale with a growing variety of itinerary lengths. In spring 2026, the Destiny offers 4- and 5-night Bahamian and Western Caribbean sailings with port stops including Nassau, Disney Castaway Cay, Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, and Cozumel, Mexico.
For fall 2026, look out for sailings calling at Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic, a brand-new Disney Cruise Line port. It is a stunning coastal city with gorgeous beaches, colonial architecture, and a vibrant local culture. A new-to-Disney port is always worth getting excited about.
By spring 2027, the Destiny’s lineup expands to include 7-night itineraries from Fort Lauderdale, making it a real option for guests who want a longer cruise without driving to Port Canaveral. Halloween on the High Seas and Very Merrytime sailings are available on select fall and winter departures.
Disney Adventure
- Home Port: Singapore
- Destinations: Magic at Sea (no port stops)
The brand-new Disney Adventure made its maiden voyage in early 2026, and it is unlike anything else in the fleet. Sailing 3- and 4-night “Magic at Sea” round-trip itineraries from Singapore with no port stops, the ship is entirely the destination. Think immersive Disney, Pixar, and Marvel-themed areas, world-class entertainment, spectacular dining experiences, and the world’s longest roller coaster at sea.
For guests in Southeast Asia, the Disney Adventure is an incredible way to experience Disney Cruise Line without crossing an ocean to do it. And for the rest of us watching from afar… the FOMO is genuinely real.
Seasonal Highlights at a Glance

Winter (December through February): December is all about Very Merrytime Cruises across the full U.S.-based fleet. Starting in late January, Marvel Day at Sea takes over the Disney Magic from Galveston and Pixar Day at Sea kicks off on the Disney Fantasy from Port Canaveral. Winter also tends to offer better pricing than peak summer season, making January and February especially smart months to sail.
Spring (March through May): Spring is a wonderful time to cruise Disney. The weather is beautiful, the fleet is spread across a wide range of destinations, and Marvel Day at Sea and Pixar Day at Sea both wrap up in early March, meaning late-spring sailings often have more availability and better pricing than earlier in the season. Spring 2026 is particularly exciting thanks to the Disney Dream’s transatlantic sailing and Mediterranean season.
Summer (June through August): Summer is peak season, and for good reason. Alaska gets two ships in both 2026 and 2027. The Disney Dream sails Europe in 2026. The Disney Wish makes its European debut in 2027. Demand is highest in summer, so book early and watch for deals like resident rates and Guaranteed Rate staterooms, which Disney has been offering more frequently on select itineraries.
Fall (September through November): Fall is one of the most underrated times to sail on Disney Cruise Line. Once summer crowds thin out after Labor Day, pricing often softens and availability opens up. You also get two incredible seasonal events: Halloween on the High Seas on select sailings through October, followed immediately by Very Merrytime Cruises beginning in November.
Planning Tips for Sailing on Disney Cruise Line

Book as early as possible. Disney Cruise Line pricing goes up over time, not down. The best staterooms and the best prices are almost always found earliest in the booking window.
Watch for deals. Disney has been offering discounts on select sailings, including 25% off Alaska and European itineraries and Guaranteed Rate staterooms where Disney assigns your cabin closer to sailing in exchange for a lower price. Florida and Southern California residents often have access to resident-only rates, and families who stayed at a Walt Disney World Deluxe Resort may be eligible for up to 25% off a cruise if they book within 7 days of checkout. Larger families should also watch for kids’ fare promotions and discounts on third and fourth guests, which pop up regularly.
Think about what kind of cruise experience you want. Short Bahamian getaways, week-long Caribbean sailings, once-in-a-lifetime transatlantic crossings, adventure-filled Alaskan voyages, and immersive European itineraries are all on the table. There is genuinely no wrong answer, but knowing your priorities will help you narrow things down quickly.
Consider themed event sailings. Marvel Day at Sea, Pixar Day at Sea, Halloween on the High Seas, and Very Merrytime Cruises are all worth planning your trip around if any of them appeal to you. These sailings sell out faster than standard departures, so prioritize them early if they are on your wish list.
