Disney Cruise Line in the winter is truly magical. After all, who doesn’t want to beat the winter blues with a little Caribbean sunshine? If you’re looking to celebrate Christmas on a Disney Cruise, Disney’s Very Merrytime cruises will also be offered throughout most of December leading up to Christmas. And if that wasn’t enough, the cruise line will be offering Marvel Day at Sea as well on select sailings!

Disney Cruise Line in the Winter – Overview
Disney Cruise Line in the winter of 2024/2025 has some exciting destinations and will see the return of Disney’s Very Merrytime Cruises. Here’s a look at what the fleet will have to offer next season:
- The Disney Magic will be sailing in the Western Caribbean leaving out of Galveston. Itineraries include 4-night, 5-night, and 6-night cruises as well as several Very Merrytime Cruises.
- The Disney Wonder will be spending this winter sailing in Australia and New Zealand with repositioning one-way cruises in the South Pacific and Hawaii.
- The Disney Dream will continue to sail out of Fort Lauderdale, which is Disney Cruise Line’s second permanent year-round Florida port. The Disney Dream will offer a mix of Bahamian and Western Caribbean sailings.
- The Disney Fantasy will continue to sail 7-night Eastern Caribbean cruises as well as 3-night, 4-night, and 5-night Bahamian cruises out of Port Canaveral.
- The Disney Wish will continue to offer 3- and 4-night Bahamian cruises from Port Canaveral.
- The Disney Treasure will be making its maiden voyage this season with both Eastern and Western 7-day cruises out of Port Canaveral.
Disney Cruise Line in the winter of 2025/2026 will once again feature Very Merrytime cruises! Here’s a quick look at what Disney Cruise Line will be offering:
- The Disney Magic will offer Western Caribbean cruises departing from Galveston (Texas) including multiple Very Merrytime sailings.
- The Disney Wonder will be sailing in Australia and New Zealand with one-way cruises in the South Pacific and Hawai’i as well.
- The Disney Dream will feature 3 and 4-night itineraries in the Bahamas making two stops at either Nassau (Bahamas), Disney Castaway Cay, or Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point depending on the sailing.
- The Disney Fantasy will feature 3 to 5-night Bahamian itineraries out of Port Canaveral (Florida). Stops vary including Disney Castaway Cay, Nassau (Bahamas), and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
- The Disney Wish will be sailing in the Bahamas out of Port Canaveral and will feature both 3-night and 4-night cruises.
- The Disney Treasure will be sailing into the Western and Eastern Caribbean out of Port Canaveral. All itineraries will include a stop at Disney Castaway Cay.
- The Disney Destiny will be making its maiden voyage on November 20, 2025, with a 4-night Bahamian cruise out of Fort Lauderdale! It will continue sailing out of Fort Lauderdale with 4-night Bahamian itineraries as well as 5-night Western Caribbean itineraries.
Marvel Day at Sea
Experience an epic day at sea with your favorite Marvel Super Heroes and Villains. Enjoy themed menus, nighttime spectaculars, live entertainment, and more! Available on select 5-night cruises from Miami to The Bahamas and the Western Caribbean, Marvel Day at Sea offers guests a truly heroic day at sea!
- Super Heroes and Villains – Take photos with your favorite Marvel characters such as Iron Man, Thor, and Black Panther. Also be on the lookout for Captain America, Loki, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Captain Marvel, Star-Lord, Gamor, and more as they roam throughout the ship.
- Marvel Heroes Unite – This signature nighttime spectacular will feature stunts, special effects, pyrotechnics, and an “unprecedented lineup” of Marvel Super Heroes… and Villians!
- Strange Academy: A Spellingbinding Spectacular – This new show feature at the Walt Disney Theatre will feature Doctor Strange, Agatha Harkness, and Sorcerer Supreme Wong as guests will experience “the power of the mystic arts.”
- Warriors of Wakanda Show – This family-friendly new show featuring Okoye, the General of an elite group of warriors serving Wakanda, will train recruits side-by-side with the mighty Dora Milaje.
- Star-Spangled USO Show – This tribute to Captain America will feature vintage big band song-and-dance numbers and will be held in the Evolution dance club.
- Mickey & Minnie’s Super Hero Celebration – Younger cruises will love to take part in this celebration featuring Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto, and Chip ‘n Dale dressed as their favorite Marvel Super Heroes!
- Activities and Fun – Marvel-themed activities will be held all throughout the ship for guests to enjoy!
- Dress up as your favorite Marvel Super Hero or Villain!
- Movie screenings of some of your favorite Marvel blockbusters and classics will be held inside the Buena Vista Theatre as well as on deck.
- Younger recruits (ages 4-12) will be able to take part in activities and “training” specifically designed with them in mind.
- Marvel TV animated series will be airing during open-air Funnel Vision screenings.
- Guests can take part in Animation Academy learning how to draw their favorite Marvel Super Heroes.
- Families can take part in family trivia as well as other family-friendly Marvel activities!

Very Merrytime
Featuring a 24-foot-tall Christmas tree, garlands, poinsettias, and twinkling lights… Disney Cruise Line’s Very Merrytime cruises are a uniquely festive celebration for all ages. These cruises are available from late November through Christmas. Experiences and activities will vary by ship, but here is some of what you can expect on these very special cruises:
- Festively Dressed Disney Characters – Take holiday photos with your favorite Disney characters dressed in their festive attire.
- Meet Santa Claus – It wouldn’t be a holiday cruise without Santa Claus on board! Guests will have an opportunity to not only meet him but also to let him know your holiday wishes.
- Holiday Activities – Festive fun and holiday crafts will be available to guests on board.
- Holiday Merchandise – Holiday-themed Disney Cruise Line items will be available for purchase.
- Castaway Cay – Very Merrytime cruises that have a stop at Castaway Cay will have the opportunity to enjoy “snow” flurries, a Christmas tree, and more on the private island.

Winter 2024/2025 Itineraries
Bahamian Cruises
Winter itineraries sailing to the Bahamas include sailings from Port Canaveral on the Disney Wish and Disney Fantasy, while the Disney Dream sets sail out of Fort Lauderdale.
- Very Merrytime Cruises – All three ships will feature these special holiday cruises in December. 3-night cruises will be offered on the Disney Wish sailing to Nassau and Castaway Cay. 5-night cruises will be offered on the Disney Dream sailing to Castaway Cay, Nassau, and the brand-new Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. And all three ships will feature 4-night Very Merrytime sailings with stops at Nassau, Castaway Cay, and/or Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point (depending on your sailing.)
- 3-Night Bahamian Cruises – All but one sailing will be featured on the Disney Wish, with the Disney Fantasy offering a 3-night cruise at the end of December. All sailings include stops at Nassau and Castaway Cay.
- 4-Night Bahamian Cruises – The Disney Dream will be sailing out of Fort Lauderdale, and the Disney Wish and the Disney Fantasy will both be sailing out of Port Canaveral. All three ships will be featuring a variety of 4-night options for guests to choose from. Some will include stops at Nassau and Castaway Cay, while others will stop at Nassau and Lookout Day at Lighthouse Point.
- 5-Night Bahamian Cruises – The Disney Dream will feature multiple sailings out of Fort Lauderdale, and the Disney Fantasy will feature sailings out of Port Canaveral. All sailings will include stops at Nassau, Castaway Cay, and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
Caribbean Cruises
Winter itineraries sailing to both Western and Eastern Caribbean regions will take place on the Disney Magic, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, and the all-new Disney Treasure! The Disney Treasure will be making its maiden voyage on December 21, 2024. Departing ports include Galveston, Port Canaveral, and Fort Lauderdale for all Caribbean sailings giving guests a variety of options to choose from.
- Very Merrytime Cruises – The popular Very Merrytime Cruises will be sailing once again to the Caribbean. Featuring 4-night, 5-night, 6-night, and 7-night options, there are plenty of itineraries to choose from with departure ports including Galveston, Fort Lauderdale, and Port Canaveral.
- 4-Night Western Caribbean Cruises – The Disney Magic will feature multiple sailings out of Galveston with a stop in Progreso, Mexico.
- 5-Night Western Caribbean Cruises – The Disney Magic and Disney Dream will be setting sail next winter out of Galveston and Fort Lauderdale respectively. The Magic will be stopping in Progreso and Cozumel, and the Dream will be making stops in Cozumel and Castaway Cay.
- 6-Night Western Caribbean Cruises – The Disney Magic will be setting sail out of Galveston for two 6-night cruises. (One of them is a Very Merrytime cruise.) Stops include George Town, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel.
- 7-Night Eastern Caribbean Cruises – The Disney Treasure will be setting sail for the first time in December 2024! Sailing out of Port Canaveral, this brand-new ship will be making a variety of stops depending on your itinerary including Tortola (British Virgin Islands), San Juan (Puerto Rico), St. Thomas (U.S. Virgin Islands), Philipsburg (St. Maarten), and Disney Castaway Cay.
- 7-Night Western Caribbean Cruises – In addition to Eastern Caribbean itineraries, the all-new Disney Treasure will be sailing in the western Caribbean out of Port Canaveral. Stops include Cozumel (Mexico), George Town (Grand Caymen), Falmouth (Jamaica), and Castaway Cay.
Hawai’i Cruises
The Disney Wonder will be setting sail near the end of February for a one-way cruise from Honolulu to Vancouver, British Columbia. This 9-night cruise features stops at Kahului and Hilo, Hawai’i.
New Zealand and Australia Cruises
The Disney Wonder will be setting sail in New Zealand and Australia.
- One-Way Cruises – The Disney Wonder will be offering several one-way, 4-night sailings in this region. Itineraries include Auckland to Sydney, Melbourne to Sydney, and Sydney to Melbourne.
- 2-Night Disney Magic at Sea Cruises – The Disney Wonder will be featuring two “Magic at Sea” cruises. These shorter cruises don’t include any stops but rather offer 2 nights at sea to enjoy all that Disney Cruise Line has to offer. Departure ports include both Auckland and Sydney.
- 3-Night Disney Magic at Sea Cruises – Sailing out of Sydney, the Disney Wonder will be offering two sailings this season. One of the sailings features a stop at Eden, Australia.
- 4-Night Disney Magic at Sea Cruises – Three sailings will be featured sailing from Aukland, Melbourne, and Sydney. The cruise from Sydney will also feature a stop at Hobart.
- 5-Night Disney Magic at Sea Cruises – One “Magic at Sea” cruise will be offered in December sailing from Aukland.
- 6-Night Disney Magic at Sea Cruises – Two 6-night cruises will be featured out of Sydney featuring a stop in Noumea, New Caledonia.
South Pacific Cruises
The Disney Wonder will be setting sail for a one-way 15-night South Pacific Cruise from Sydney to Honolulu. Stops include Noumea (New Caledonia), Suva (Fiji), International Date Light (South Pacific), Pago Pago (American Samoa), and Nawiliwili (Hawai’i).
Winter 2025/2026 Itineraries
All of these itineraries take place from December 2025 through February 2026.
Disney Magic

In the winter of 2025/2026, the Disney Magic will offer 20 Western Caribbean cruises departing from Galveston (Texas) including multiple Very Merrytime sailings. Itineraries are either 4 or 5 nights and feature various stops including Progreso (Mexico) and Cozumel (Mexico).
Disney Wonder
- Departing Ports: Auckland (New Zealand) | Honolulu (Hawai’i) | Melbourne (Australia) | Sydney (Australia) | Vancouver (Canada)
- Destinations: Australia | South Pacific | Hawai’i | Pacific Coast
- Event Cruises: Disney Magic at Sea
The Disney Wonder will be moving around quite a bit this season featuring 17 different cruise itineraries. Departing ports include Auckland (New Zealand), Honolulu (Hawai’i), Melbourne (Australia), Sydney (Australia), and Vancouver (Canada). The ship will explore Australia/New Zealand, the South Pacific, the Pacific Coast, and Hawai’i; and it will feature numerous Disney Magic at Sea Cruises and four various one-way cruises to reposition the ship.
Disney Dream
- Departing Port: Fort Lauderdale (Florida)
- Destinations: Bahamas
- Event Cruises: Very Merrytime
The Disney Dream will feature over 25 cruises in the winter season, all departing from Fort Lauderdale (Florida). The ship will feature 3 and 4-night itineraries in the Bahamas making two stops at either Nassau (Bahamas), Disney Castaway Cay, or Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point depending on the sailing. Several itineraries also feature Very Merrytime celebrations.
Disney Fantasy
- Departing Ports: Port Canaveral (Florida)
- Destinations: Bahamas
- Event Cruises: Very Merrytime
The Disney Fantasy will feature 3 to 5-night Bahamian itineraries out of Port Canaveral (Florida). Stops vary including Disney Castaway Cay, Nassau (Bahamas), and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point; and several itineraries feature Very Merrytime celebrations.
Disney Wish
