Disney Cruise Line in the Summer: 2026 & 2027 Itineraries
Disney Cruise Line in the summer is, without question, one of the most popular times to set sail, and with an eight-ship fleet spread across some of the most stunning destinations in the world, it’s easy to see why. From the glaciers of Alaska to the sun-soaked ports of the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, and beyond, Disney’s summer lineups for 2026 and 2027 are packed with options for every kind of traveler.
We personally have never sailed on Disney in the summer (we tend to be spring and winter cruisers), but looking at these itineraries makes me want to change that in a hurry. Whether you’re dreaming of a quick Bahamian getaway or a once-in-a-lifetime European adventure, this guide covers everything you need to know… every ship, every destination, and every reason to start planning now.

Deals on Disney Cruise Line in the Summer
One thing that surprises a lot of people is that Disney Cruise Line in the summer can actually be a great time to find deals, especially if you’re flexible. Disney has been discounting summer sailings more aggressively than usual lately, including offers like 25% off select Alaska and European itineraries and Guaranteed Rate staterooms where Disney assigns your cabin closer to sailing in exchange for a lower price. If you’re not picky about your exact stateroom location, those can be a fantastic way to save.
A few other tips worth knowing: Florida and Southern California residents often have access to resident-only rates, and if you stayed at a Walt Disney World Deluxe Resort, you may be eligible for up to 25% off a cruise if you book within 7 days of checkout. Larger families should also keep an eye out for kids’ fare promotions and discounts on third and fourth guests, which pop up regularly and can make a big difference in the overall cost.
Summer 2026 Itineraries
June, July, and August 2026.
Summer 2026 is a landmark season for Disney Cruise Line, and the headline news is that Alaska is getting two ships for the first time ever. The Disney Magic joins the Disney Wonder in the Pacific Northwest, while the Disney Dream heads to Europe for a stunning Mediterranean and Northern European season. Meanwhile, the Florida fleet keeps delivering magic in the Bahamas and Caribbean. There truly is something for every kind of family this summer.
Disney Magic
- Departing From: Vancouver, British Columbia
- Destinations: Alaska
This is the big one for summer 2026. The Disney Magic is sailing to Alaska for the very first time, joining the Disney Wonder in the Pacific Northwest and giving families two ship options for glacier-filled adventures. The Magic offers 7-night itineraries from Vancouver, with ports of call including Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan, and Icy Strait Point (a highlight known for incredible wildlife viewing).
Most sailings also include a visit to the breathtaking Dawes Glacier, a tidewater glacier that towers over 600 feet tall. Select Magic sailings will dock at Ward Cove in Ketchikan, a newer docking facility that offers a slightly different experience than the traditional downtown pier. If you’ve ever dreamed of experiencing Alaska on a Disney cruise, summer 2026 gives you more options than ever before to make that happen.
Disney Wonder
- Departing From: Vancouver, British Columbia
- Destinations: Alaska
The Disney Wonder has been Disney Cruise Line’s Alaska ship since 2011, and summer 2026 marks its return to the Pacific Northwest for another season of 7-night Alaskan itineraries from Vancouver. Ports vary by sailing but include Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan, and glacier viewing at the magnificent Dawes Glacier.
We have absolutely fallen in love with the Disney Wonder over the years. It’s one of our favorite ships in the fleet. The idea of sailing it through Alaskan waters with those views? That’s a bucket list item if I’ve ever seen one. If Alaska is on your radar, the Wonder is a familiar, beloved option, and with the Magic there too, the added capacity may mean a bit more availability to go around.
Disney Dream
- Departing From: Barcelona, Spain; Civitavecchia, Italy; Southampton, England
- Destinations: Mediterranean, Norwegian Fjords, Northern Europe
The Disney Dream has one of the most spectacular summer 2026 schedules of any ship in the fleet, and honestly, it might be the most exciting Disney cruise season I’ve seen in years. After its spring Transatlantic crossing from Fort Lauderdale to Barcelona, the Dream launches into a full summer of European itineraries. 7- to 12-night Mediterranean sailings depart from Barcelona and Civitavecchia, Italy, with stops across Italy, Greece, Croatia, Malta, France, and Spain, including Santorini, Mykonos, Rhodes, and the brand-new Disney Cruise Line port of Cagliari, Sardinia.
Then, later in the summer, the Dream heads north to Southampton, England for 3-, 4-, and 7-night sailings through Northern Europe and the Norwegian Fjords, with ports including Copenhagen, Denmark, Olden, Norway, and more. Summer in the Mediterranean and Norway on a Disney ship? My husband and I have been talking about a European cruise for years, and this lineup is making that conversation a lot more serious.
Disney Fantasy
- Departing From: Port Canaveral, Florida
- Destinations: Bahamas, Southern Caribbean
The Disney Fantasy is a summertime staple out of Port Canaveral, and summer 2026 delivers a great mix of itinerary lengths. The ship offers 4- and 5-night Bahamian sailings with stops at Nassau, Disney Castaway Cay, and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. But the real standout is a 10-night Southern Caribbean sailing, a longer itinerary that’s perfect for families who want to explore beyond the Bahamas and really soak in the islands. The Fantasy is one of our favorite ships, and Port Canaveral is such an easy departure point for so many families. If you’re a Florida family looking for a summer cruise, this is a natural fit.
Disney Wish
- Departing From: Port Canaveral, Florida
- Destinations: Bahamas
The Disney Wish keeps doing what it does best in summer 2026, delivering short, magical Bahamian getaways from Port Canaveral. The ship sails 3- and 4-night itineraries with stops at Nassau, Disney Castaway Cay, and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. We have sailed the Wish and absolutely adore it. The ship is stunning, the dining is incredible, and even a short sailing feels like a complete vacation. For summer, when schedules are tight and budgets are stretched, the Wish’s shorter itineraries are a genuinely great option. (Little tip: book early… summer sailings on the Wish sell out fast!)
Disney Treasure
- Departing From: Port Canaveral, Florida
- Destinations: Western Caribbean, Eastern Caribbean
The Disney Treasure continues its 7-night Caribbean itineraries from Port Canaveral through summer 2026, offering some of the most port-rich sailing in the fleet. Western Caribbean voyages visit Cozumel, George Town (Grand Cayman), Falmouth (Jamaica), and Disney Castaway Cay, while Eastern Caribbean sailings head to Tortola (British Virgin Islands), St. Thomas (U.S. Virgin Islands), and Castaway Cay. Every Treasure sailing includes a stop at Castaway Cay, and if you’ve never been, let me assure you, it is as magical as everyone says. The Treasure is a beautiful newer ship, and a 7-night Caribbean summer sailing on it is a seriously strong option for families who want a longer, destination-rich experience.
Disney Adventure
- Departing From: Singapore
- Destinations: Magic at Sea (no port stops)
The Disney Adventure continues its one-of-a-kind “Magic at Sea” sailings from Singapore through the summer 2026 season, offering 3- and 4-night round-trip itineraries with no port stops. The ship is the destination, packed with Disney, Pixar, and Marvel-themed areas, Broadway-style shows, the world’s longest roller coaster at sea, and dining experiences unlike anything else in the fleet. For guests in Southeast Asia, a summer sailing on the Disney Adventure is a genuinely magical option. (And for the rest of us watching from afar… the FOMO is very real.)
Disney Destiny
- Departing From: Fort Lauderdale, Florida
- Destinations: Bahamas, Eastern Caribbean, Western Caribbean
The Disney Destiny has a big summer 2026. Not only is it continuing its popular 4- and 5-night Bahamian and Western Caribbean sailings from Fort Lauderdale, but the ship is also adding 7-night itineraries to the Eastern and Western Caribbean for the first time. That makes the Destiny a real option for families who want a longer summer cruise from South Florida without the drive to Port Canaveral. Port stops vary by sailing but include Nassau, Disney Castaway Cay, Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, and Cozumel, Mexico. As a newer ship with a fresh heroes-and-villains theme, the Destiny is generating a lot of excitement, and summer 2026 is a great time to experience it.
Summer 2027 Itineraries
June, July, and August 2027.
If summer 2026 had one big headline, summer 2027 has two, and they are both genuinely exciting. The Disney Wish is heading to Europe for the very first time, and the Disney Dream is coming back to Port Canaveral after its European summer in 2026. Add in the return of both the Magic and Wonder in Alaska, continued Caribbean and Bahamian offerings from Florida, and a growing lineup from Singapore, and this is one of the most varied Disney Cruise Line summers we’ve ever seen.
Disney Magic
- Departing From: Vancouver, British Columbia
- Destinations: Alaska
The Disney Magic returns to Alaska for summer 2027, again sailing from Vancouver with a mix of 6-, 7-, and 8-night itineraries (the most variety of any Alaskan offering in the fleet). Most sailings are 7 nights, but the addition of 6- and 8-night options gives families more flexibility in terms of length and scheduling. Ports of call include Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan, and Icy Strait Point, along with glacier viewing. Alaska two years running on the Disney Magic is a sign that bookings have been strong, and if you missed the inaugural Alaska season in 2026, summer 2027 is your second chance to experience it.
Disney Wonder
- Departing From: Vancouver, British Columbia
- Destinations: Alaska
The Disney Wonder is back in Alaska for another summer, sailing 7-night itineraries from Vancouver with stops at Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan, and breathtaking glacier viewing. The Wonder has been the backbone of Disney’s Alaskan season since 2011, and it shows. The crew is experienced, the itineraries are well-refined, and the ship handles these waters beautifully. If Alaska is your dream Disney Cruise destination, the Wonder is the ship with the most history there, and it consistently gets rave reviews from everyone who sails it. This is still firmly on our family bucket list!
Disney Dream
- Departing From: Port Canaveral, Florida
- Destinations: Bahamas
After a spectacular European summer in 2026, the Disney Dream comes back to Port Canaveral for summer 2027 with 3- and 4-night Bahamian sailings to Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. The Dream is one of our absolute favorite ships. We’ve sailed it multiple times, and it never disappoints. Having it back in Port Canaveral for the summer is genuinely great news for families on the East Coast who want a shorter, more affordable Disney cruise option. If you’ve never sailed the Dream, summer 2027 is a wonderful opportunity. And if you’re a returning guest, it’s always like coming home.
Disney Fantasy
- Departing From: Port Canaveral, Florida
- Destinations: Bahamas, Caribbean, Southern Caribbean
The Disney Fantasy delivers another strong summer from Port Canaveral in 2027 with 4- and 5-night Bahamian and Caribbean sailings, plus the return of a 10-night Southern Caribbean itinerary for families who want a truly extended summer adventure. The Fantasy is a fantastic ship for summer. It’s large enough that there’s always something to do, but it still has that unmistakable Disney magic around every corner. We have sailed the Fantasy and loved every minute of it. It’s a great choice for first-time Disney cruisers and veterans alike.
Disney Wish
- Departing From: Barcelona, Spain; Southampton, England; Civitavecchia, Italy
- Destinations: Mediterranean, Norwegian Fjords, Northern Europe
This is the headline of summer 2027. The Disney Wish is heading to Europe for the very first time, and it is a genuinely big deal. After a transatlantic repositioning cruise, the Wish will offer 3- to 10-night European itineraries from multiple home ports, visiting stunning new-to-Disney destinations including Zadar, Croatia, Trieste (near Venice), Italy, and Hellesylt, Norway. Mediterranean and Northern European ports round out the lineup, delivering the kind of cultural adventure that Disney Cruise Line does so beautifully.
We have sailed the Disney Wish and think it is one of the most beautifully designed ships in the fleet. Imagining it sailing through the Norwegian Fjords or anchored off a Croatian coastline is almost too good to believe. If a European cruise on the Wish is something you’re considering, book early… this will be an extremely high-demand season.
Disney Treasure
- Departing From: Port Canaveral, Florida
- Destinations: Western Caribbean, Eastern Caribbean
The Disney Treasure keeps delivering its signature 7-night Caribbean itineraries from Port Canaveral in summer 2027. Western Caribbean sailings visit Cozumel, George Town (Grand Cayman), Falmouth (Jamaica), and Disney Castaway Cay, while Eastern Caribbean voyages head to Tortola (British Virgin Islands), St. Thomas (U.S. Virgin Islands), and Castaway Cay. If you want a full week of Caribbean adventure with a Disney private island stop included, the Treasure remains one of the best itineraries in the fleet, and summer is a wonderful time to experience it.
Disney Adventure
- Departing From: Singapore
- Destinations: Magic at Sea (no port stops)
The Disney Adventure continues its 3- and 4-night “Magic at Sea” sailings from Singapore through August 2027, offering the same immersive Disney, Pixar, and Marvel experience entirely at sea. This is truly unlike anything else in the fleet. The ship itself is the destination, with world-class entertainment, themed dining, and onboard experiences you won’t find anywhere else. For guests in Southeast Asia, a summer sailing on the Disney Adventure is one of the most unique Disney vacation options available anywhere in the world.
Disney Destiny
- Departing From: Fort Lauderdale, Florida
- Destinations: Bahamas, Caribbean
The Disney Destiny continues sailing from Fort Lauderdale in summer 2027 with a wide range of itinerary options, including 3-, 4-, and 5-night sailings to the Bahamas and Caribbean, plus 4- and 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries for families who want more time at sea. Select sailings visit both Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point in a single voyage (always a treat!). The Destiny’s heroes-and-villains theme continues to generate excitement, and with a growing range of itinerary lengths, there’s genuinely something for everyone sailing from Fort Lauderdale this summer.
