Disney Cruise Line in the summer will take you to some exciting destinations! Offerings include cruises to Alaska, the Bahamas, the Caribbean, and Europe! Summer 2023 will offer something special as well… Disney’s Silver Anniversary at Sea! Disney Cruise Line is celebrating its 25th year of sailing in style, and select cruises throughout the summer will be offering guests the chance to join in the celebration.
Looking ahead to the summer of 2024, Disney will be offering sailings to its all-new private island – Lighthouse Point! Both Disney Magic and Disney Fantasy will be sailing there at some point in the summer of 2024, so be sure to check out the itineraries below for which sailings include this destination!

Disney Cruise Line in the Summer – Overview
Summer 2023 is just a short time away now, but Disney Cruise Line has announced their Silver Anniversary at Sea Celebration! Most of the itineraries across the entire fleet will be taking part.
- The Disney Magic will be sailing a mix of 3-, 4-, and 5-Night Bahamian, and 5-, and 7-night Western and Eastern Caribbean cruises out of Miami, Florida.
- The Disney Wonder will once again be offering summer cruises out of Vancouver, Canada, featuring a selection of 5-, 7-, and 9-night itineraries.
- The Disney Dream will feature sailings in the Mediterranean for the first time! (Typically summer European cruises have taken place on the Disney Magic.) The Disney Dream will embark from Barcelona, Civitavecchia, Copenhagen, and Southampton.
- The Disney Fantasy will spend the summer sailing primarily 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises with Saturday departures from Port Canaveral. During the summer there will be a handful of additional itineraries including a 5-night Bahamian, 6-night Western, 8-night Bermuda & Bahamas, and a 10-night Southern Caribbean cruise.
- The Disney Wish will continue primarily sailing alternating 3- and 4-night Bahamian cruises from Port Canaveral with Friday and Monday departures.
Summer 2024 itineraries are now available to the general public for booking! This summer will be truly special as it will include the first stops at Disney Cruise Line’s brand-new private island, Lighthouse Point! Most of the Disney Magic summer 2024 Bahamian itineraries feature a stop here. The Disney Fantasy is the only other ship sailing to the new destination… but only one summer itinerary includes the stop.
- The Disney Magic will home-port in Fort Lauderdale sailing also from San Juan to Florida and offering 3-, 4-, and 5-night Bahamian, and 5-night Western Caribbean cruises.
- The Disney Wonder will be spending the summer taking guests to Alaska. During the summer, the Disney Wonder will offer mostly 7-night Alaskan itineraries from Vancouver, Canada, with two variations alternating between Icy Strait Point and Skagway ports of call. There will also be a 9-night vacation followed by a 5-night in July.
- The Disney Dream will depart Fort Lauderdale on May 5, 2024, for Europe sailing from Barcelona, Civitavecchia, and Southampton offering itineraries in the Mediterranean, Greek Isles, Norwegian Fjords, Iceland, and around Europe including the British Isles.
- The Disney Fantasy will remain at Port Canaveral sailing 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises along with a 5-night Bahamian, a 6-night Western, and a 10-night Southern Caribbean itinerary. The Southern will feature stops at both Lighthouse Point and Castaway Cay… which is the only itinerary taking guests to both islands in the summer of 2024.
- The Disney Wish will continue to offer 3- and 4-night cruises from Port Canaveral sailing to Nassau and Castaway Cay.
Silver Anniversary at Sea
Disney Cruise Line is celebrating 25 years of sailing! This summer, select cruises on all five Disney cruise ships will offer guests the chance to celebrate. Join Captains Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse as they dress in their best to commemorate the milestone. Here is just some of what you can expect on your Silver Anniversary at Sea cruise:

- A Silver Jubilee – Cruises will feature a brand-new signature song as you cast off to sea.
- Character Encounters – Captains Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will be all dressed up to celebrate the occasion.
- Fireworks at Sea – In addition to Pirate Night, Disney will be adding a second night of fireworks at sea (to most sailings lasting 4 nights or longer).
- Celebratory Dining Options – Guests can expect dining options to include limited-time Silver Anniversary desserts and drinks throughout their cruise.
- New Merchandise – Disney will be releasing the “Shimmering Seas Collection.” This will include clothing, accessories, drinkware, keepsakes, and more!
Summer 2023 Itineraries
Disney Cruise Line in the summer of 2023 is changing things up a bit! The Disney Wish made its maiden voyage on July 15, 2022, and that gave the cruise line an opportunity to expand its itineraries. Perhaps the most notable change for summer 2023 is the redeployment of the Disney Dream to Europe. In years past, European cruises were typically scheduled on Disney Magic.
The Disney Wonder will once again remain on the West Coast and spend the summer taking guests to Alaska. The Disney Fantasy and the brand-new Disney Wish will be offering voyages out of Port Canaveral to the Caribbean as well as the Bahamas. And last, but certainly not least, Disney Magic will be offering itineraries from both Miami and San Juan.
