The Complete Guide to Epcot Rides and Attractions

|

Epcot rides and attractions are in a league all their own as this park is truly unique from any other theme park experience. Currently, there are four distinct areas within the park: World Celebration features Spaceship Earth and honors the connections we have with one another. World Discovery (formerly known as Future World East) is a place where space, science, and technology come together. Animals, plants, and nature are the center of World Nature, which celebrates the beauty in the natural world.

And finally, there’s World Showcase. This area really sets Epcot apart from most other theme park experiences. Here, you will take a journey through 11 different countries as you explore and immerse yourself in the varying cultures. Taste the cuisine, shop, and be entertained as you “travel the world!”

Mission Space in Epcot | magicintheplanning.comMission: SPACE

  • Height Restrictions: Riders must be at least 40 inches tall for the green mission or 44 inches tall for the orange mission.
  • About the Attraction: Have you ever wanted to be an astronaut? This ride will take you through a simulated space mission. The “orange” mission is more intense and simulates both the speed and G-forces associated with space travel. (Be prepared to spin!) The “green” mission is more of a family experience (no spinning) and is much less intense. If you are prone to motion sickness or are visiting with kids, I highly recommend the “green” level as the “orange” level is quite the experience! Also, the less intense version almost always has a shorter wait time.
