Disney World Mobile Ordering: How It Works & Where to Use It (2026)
Disney World mobile ordering is, without question, one of my favorite planning tools, and it’s one of the first things I tell first-time visitors to figure out before their trip. My family loves being able to browse a menu and decide what we want ahead of time instead of standing at a counter holding up the line while we debate. It saves real time, and honestly, it’s just convenient.
In this guide, I’ll walk you through exactly how mobile ordering works, why I think every Disney World visitor should be using it, a few tips we’ve picked up along the way, and a full breakdown of where you can actually use it, park by park, at the water parks, and at the resorts.

What Is Disney World Mobile Ordering?
Mobile ordering is a feature built into the My Disney Experience app that lets you order and pay for food ahead of time at participating quick-service locations, then pick it up without waiting in the regular ordering line. It’s currently available at more than 60 locations across Walt Disney World, including all four theme parks, both water parks, Disney Springs, and most resort hotel food courts.
How Mobile Ordering Works, Step by Step
Here’s exactly how it works, straight from the app:
- Open the My Disney Experience app and tap the “+” button at the bottom center of your screen, then select “Order Food.”
- Choose a mobile order location. You’ll see a list of participating restaurants nearby, or you can search for a specific one.
- Pick your arrival window. This is the time slot you’re telling the kitchen you’ll be there to pick up your food. You can often choose “as soon as possible” or schedule for later in the day.
- Build your order. Browse the full menu and customize items where allowed, including selecting from allergy-friendly options at many locations.
- Pay. You can use a credit or debit card, a Disney Gift Card, a Disney Rewards Redemption Card, Apple Pay, or Disney Dining Plan credits.
- Tap “I’m Here, Prepare My Order” when you actually arrive at the restaurant. This is the step that tells the kitchen to start making your food, so don’t tap it until you’re really there, or you may end up with a lukewarm meal waiting on you instead of the other way around.
- Watch for your notification. The app will alert you when your order is ready, and you’ll pick it up at the designated Mobile Order Pick Up counter or window, separate from the regular register line.
Why We Love Using Mobile Order

For my family, it comes down to a few things. First, we genuinely like being able to look over a menu together and decide what we want before we’re standing in front of a cashier with a line building behind us. It takes the pressure off, especially with kids who need a minute to make up their minds.
Second, it saves real time. We try to eat at off-peak times when we can anyway, but even outside of the traditional lunch and dinner rush, walking straight to a dedicated pickup window instead of waiting to order is a noticeable difference over the course of a full park day.
One of our favorite uses for mobile order is actually at our resort in the morning. On days we’re trying to get to a park before rope drop, we place a mobile order for breakfast as soon as we wake up, well before we’re ready to walk out the door. (You can schedule an exact pick up time in the app.) By the time we’re dressed and packed up, our food is ready to grab on the way out. It’s one of the easiest ways I’ve found to shave real time off a rope-drop morning without skipping breakfast entirely.
One thing worth knowing: popular spots can fill up their pickup windows fast. Woody’s Lunch Box in Hollywood Studios is a great example; its return times can push out well over an hour if you wait too long to place your order. If there’s a specific mobile order spot you’re hoping to try, I’d order earlier rather than later, especially around typical meal times.
A Few Tips for Getting the Most Out of Mobile Order
- Order early for popular locations. As I mentioned, spots like Woody’s Lunch Box can book out their arrival windows quickly. Check the app as soon as you know roughly when you’ll want to eat.
- Don’t tap “I’m Here” too early. The app doesn’t track your physical location for this step, so if you tap it from your resort room or mid-ride, your food starts cooking before you’re actually there to pick it up.
- It works with the Disney Dining Plan. If you’re on a dining plan, you can select it as your payment method and the appropriate quick-service or snack credits will be deducted automatically.
- Watch for app dead zones. Some queue interiors and show buildings have weak connectivity. If your order won’t load, step into an open area and try again, or connect to the free Disney Parks WiFi network.
- Starbucks is the exception. Each park has a Starbucks location, but none of them currently participate in My Disney Experience mobile ordering.
Where You Can Use Mobile Order
Mobile order locations do change from time to time, so I’d always double-check current availability in the app before you go. That said, here’s a solid breakdown of where you can count on it as of this writing.
Magic Kingdom
Magic Kingdom has the widest mobile order coverage of any park, with the large majority of its quick-service restaurants participating, including Casey’s Corner, Columbia Harbour House, Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café, Pinocchio Village Haus, Sleepy Hollow, The Friar’s Nook, Golden Oak Outpost, and Aloha Isle. A few smaller snack spots, like Gaston’s Tavern and Liberty Square Market, are not currently on mobile order, so those are worth knowing if you’re planning your day around it.

EPCOT
EPCOT has the shortest mobile order list of the four parks, so don’t expect the same coverage you’ll find at Magic Kingdom. Current participating locations include Connections Eatery, Regal Eagle Smokehouse, Sommerfest, Yorkshire County Fish Shop, Karamell-Küche, and Sunshine Seasons. Worth noting: Connections Café, the Starbucks located right next to Connections Eatery, does not accept mobile orders even though they’re steps apart.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Hollywood Studios has strong mobile order coverage, including ABC Commissary, Backlot Express, Catalina Eddie’s, Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo, Dockside Diner, Fairfax Fare, Kat Saka’s Kettle, Milk Stand, Ronto Roasters, Rosie’s All-American Café, and Woody’s Lunch Box.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom currently offers mobile order at Satu’li Canteen, Flame Tree Barbecue, and Harambe Market. Keep in mind that Animal Kingdom is in the middle of major changes right now: DinoLand U.S.A. and Restaurantosaurus closed permanently in February 2026 to make way for the upcoming Tropical Americas land, so that’s one quick-service option you’ll no longer see listed.
Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach
Both water parks offer mobile order as well, including Leaning Palms and Typhoon Tilly’s at Typhoon Lagoon, and Avalunch, Lottawatta Lodge, and Warming Hut at Blizzard Beach.
Disney Springs
Mobile order at Disney Springs is more limited than in the theme parks, with locations like Amorette’s Patisserie, B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co., D-Luxe Burger, and Goofy’s Candy Company participating through My Disney Experience. A handful of other Disney Springs restaurants, such as The Polite Pig and Cookes of Dublin, run their own separate online ordering systems outside the My Disney Experience app.
Disney Resort Hotels
Most resort hotel food courts also support mobile order, including Everything Pop at Pop Century, Riverside Mill Food Court at Port Orleans Riverside, Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory at Port Orleans French Quarter, and Capt. Cook’s at the Polynesian Village Resort, among others. As I mentioned above, we use this constantly for early resort breakfasts.
Is Mobile Order Worth Using?
For our family, absolutely. It fits how we like to travel: a little more relaxed, a little less rushed, and with everyone getting exactly what they want without a debate happening in front of a cashier. If you haven’t tried it yet, I’d start with your resort breakfast on your first rope-drop morning. Once you see how much smoother that morning goes, you’ll likely be reaching for the app at every meal after that.
For the most current list of mobile order locations, always check the official Walt Disney World mobile ordering page, since locations can change without notice.
